Information we collect
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard request data, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, pages requested and the date and time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working and are retained only as long as needed for that purpose.
Cookies. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We don’t set cookies to identify you personally. Third parties described below, such as advertising partners, may set cookies when you visit.
Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We may use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Visitors in regions that require consent may be shown a consent message provided by Google before personalized ads are served.
Analytics
We may use a privacy-conscious analytics service to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are read most. Such services may use cookies or similar technologies and process data like approximate location, device type and pages viewed. We use this information only in aggregate to improve the site.
Your US state privacy rights (including California)
Residents of California and other US states with consumer privacy laws may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don’t sell personal information for money. To opt out of personalized advertising, use the links above or your browser’s Global Privacy Control setting where supported. To make a request, email us; we won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR and similar laws, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Our legal bases are legitimate interests (keeping the site running and secure) and consent (for personalized advertising cookies, collected through a consent tool). You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
